Norfolk Air Show

On Saturday the 17th, we went to the Norfolk Air Show. Here are some of the planes that were in the show that day.

F/A-18 Hornet taxiing

This plane had jets attached to the bottom so it can climb incredibly quickly.
They are good for only one use. Pretty amazing rate and angle of climb for
such a large plane.

This is John Mohr in his biplane, he was a very talented pilot.

This was pretty amazing, just watching should be words enough.

The Blue Angels

This is Shockwave (The Jet truck) racing a WW2 trainer plane T-6 Texan.

The Blue Angels taking off and forming into the diamond formation.
The camera battery died after this. :( It was a great show though!
