SPOONS

So on Christmas day the Nertling's came over. My Uncle Dave is Mama's brother. We got into a game of SPOONS. For those of you who have never played, you must try it! All you need is a deck of cards and some spoons. Who doesn't have that?! You each get dealt 4 cards and the idea is to get 4 of the same card (ex. 4 Jacks). One person starts with the pile, looks, and passes or trades cards. Once you get all 4 cards, you grab a spoon. Or, if someone else grabs a spoon because they have it, you have to grab one too. There is one less spoon than players so whomever doesn't get a spoon gets a letter, until you spell out the word SPOONS. Then you are out of the game and you lose! This was one round of our intense game. Despite what it may look like, I did end up with a spoon. Jamie did not. :) Enjoy.
