On June 28th, my father-in-law turns 60! We decided to throw him a surprise, Hawaiian themed birthday party, early. They had company come from Florida who helped to distract him Saturday morning. They ended up taking the boat to breakfast and coming back around 12:45 PM. When their boat turned the corner, he was like, what is all that stuff on our porch? Who are all those people?!

I took about a week, working off and on, to string all these decorations from the twine. They added so much to the theme though!

This was the cake. For some reason I can't get it to turn from this webpage. You'll just have to turn your head to the side, or your computer screen. ;)
