Graves

Since you saw that all the Copening's pretty much stayed in Iola, you might figure that they were all buried there.  The following are just pictures of their headstones.

Jerry was Ralph and Jewel's son

He died at 19 while getting his tonsils out.  His fiancee's father was performing the surgery and hit Jerry's carotid artery.  He died on the table.

Michael Dundas is a cousin to Tyler's dad.  He was Frances's (Tyler's grandpa's sister) husband's son. Michael was her stepson.  He died in Vietnam.
