Last weekend we went to a bowling tournament in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. Geoff, one of our team members from our league, and his daughter Kate, rode with us. The four of us and Kate's boyfriend, Jacob, were on a team together.
Along the way, we stopped at a rest area and saw this sign. I had to get our picture with it. Do you see how "in love" we are? :)

There is one point in going over to Virginia Beach that you have to cross an inlet. So they built a short bridge/tunnel that takes you underwater instead of over!
Beep Beep! You have to honk your horn when going through a tunnel!
We did a little geocaching while we were there. One of the geocaches took us to this neat plane museum. We didn't have time to go in because we had a bowling tournament to get to, but we did find the geocache!
After bowling 9 games that day, 6 at 8:00 AM and 3 at 3:00 PM, we finally had a chance to sit down and eat dinner. We ate at a place called "Straight outta Philly". It was affordable and tasty.
