White Water Rafting, Class 5 Rapids

On Memorial Day weekend we went to PA, just below Pittsburgh. Tyler desperately wanted to go White Water Rafting on Class 5 rapids. They only had 2 openings left so Dad opted to go with him. They had so much fun and Tyler can't wait to go again. The first few pictures are hard to tell which ones they are but there will be closer up pictures that you can tell. Tyler is on the front left and Dad is back left. I am told that at one point all fell out of the raft. However, Dad ended up in a pool of water that he could stand up in and didn't end up riding down the rapids on his back. Tyler, on the other hand, did not end up so lucky. He rode down 4 rapids on his back and said that was the best part of the trip. (????) I have no idea-don't ask. I guess it was the thrill.Dad is sitting by the guide (Guy in the black helmet) in the back. Tyler is in front of Dad in the black shirt.

Tyler did come back with a bruise on his foot and both men were sore the next day. But I think given the opportunity, they wouldn't change a thing about it. Glad you had fun guys!
