New siding

We decided we really needed to get new siding put on the house. Our old siding was wood and we were having lots of "friendly" visitors come see us. Some of our favorites were the wood boring bees and the woodpecker that would peck at the corner of the house our bed is on and wake us up on a Saturday morning. Since we have replaced the siding we really haven't seen or heard too much of either of them. We are very thankful to have new siding.Old siding and shutters

Here is a good picture where you can see the difference between the old and new siding.
The dumb soffit they put under our chimney. We had them replace it and put siding in.

The front of the house after. It looks 100x better.
(Shelby wanted in on the picture too. :) )
Our new shutters!
Overall, we were very pleased about how the siding turned out. Yay for no more pesky critters!
