The little pilot boat that was racing us. :) Just kidding. We found out later that at some ports, a pilot will hop on board with us and guide us out of the channel because he knows that part of the water better than the captain.

Ft. Lauderdale
We sailed out of sunny Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday, April 11, 2009.
